Abstract: ‘Zhuyahuang 3’is a new konjac cultivar that was finally bred through continuous domestication,successive selection of elite individuals and stable lines,and progressive propagation under natural conditions in Kunming. This cultivar grows for 2-3 years,with a plant height of 67-155 cm. The internal tissue of the tuber is yellowish-white,and the leaf stalk surface is smooth,with a base color of gray or gray-black,featuring white or light pink + white patches. As the plant grows,the base color of the leaf stalk darkens to black. The growth period is approximately 166 days,with a leaf stalk length of 75-121 cm,diameter 1.8-3.5 cm,and large leaves,measuring 36-87 cm in length,the average yield is 44 970 kg ꞏ hm^-2. It features excellent lodging resistance and strong waterlogging tolerance，with high resistance to soft rot and southern blight. As a tropical bulbil-type konjac，it can be normally cultivated and harvested in southern and western Yunnan.
