Abstract: ‘Jingxiang 1’is a new strawberry（Fragaria × ananassa）cultivar bred from the cross between 06-L86-1 and‘Benihoppe’. The fruits are long conical in shape,with an average weight of 20.9 g and a maximum weight of 37.0 g. The peel is orange-red with a bright luster,and the fruit has an excellent flavor. The contents of soluble solids,vitamin C and fruit firmness are 10.3%-13.6%,0.627 mg · g^-1 and 1.78 kg · cm^-2,respectively. It features delicate flesh,excellent quality,small central cavity and high yield. Under the conditions of solar greenhouse in Beijing,it matures in early December,with a yield of more than 30 000 kg · hm^-2.
