Abstract: ‘Jinxia Taoye Cheng’，a new few-seed sweet orange cultivar，was selected from‘Taoye Cheng 18’through bud mutation. It grows strongly，and the fruit is nearly round in shape，with an orange- red thin rind，and the fruit shape index is 0.98. After fully ripe，the average fruit weight is more than 140 g. The pulp is orange-yellow，few-seed，sweet，fibreless and crisp，with well-flavor and aroma，containing total soluble solids（TSS）of 12.96%，total acid of 0.45%，and vitamin C of 304.5 mg ? L-1. Its full bloom occurs in middle-late April and fruits are mature in late November to early December in Zigui，Hubei Province.
