A New Potato Cultivar‘Gannongshu 6

Abstract:

‘Gannongshu 6is a new high-quality and yield potato cultivar that was developed by cross breeding from‘Atlantic’as female parent and‘L0029-35as male parent. It is a mid-late maturing cultivar with 120 d growth period. The tuber shape is oval,skin is smooth and yellowish,tuber flesh is yellow,and bud eyes are less and shallow. The tuberization is concentration with a good commodity nature. The dry matter content of tuber was 29.40%,the starch content is 21.94%,the reducing sugar content is 0.10%,the vitamin C content is 192 mg ? kg-1,the crude protein content is 2.68%. The average yield is 28.53 t ? hm-2. This cultivar is suitable for planting in the arid and semi-arid mountainous area and the cold and humid regions.
