New Rose Cultivars Rosa‘Tianxiang’,‘Tianshan Baixue’,‘Tianshan Taoyuan’,‘Tianshanzhiguang’and‘Tianshanzhixing’

Abstract: Five new rose cultivars were selected from the interspecific hybridization between the modern rose cultivars and the stress-resistant wild species Rosa beggeriana. There were Rosa‘Tianxiang’with dark-pink double flowers and strong aroma,Rosa‘Tianshan Baixüe’with white semi-double flowers,Rosa‘Tianshan Taoyuan’with pink semi-double flowers,Rosa‘Tianshanzhiguang’with white double flowers. However,Rosa‘Tianshanzhixing’presented a strong aroma and the small pink-red semi-double flowers with the diameter of 5–6 cm. All cultivars exhibited the vigorous growth,large canopy and strong cold resistance,which could be applied as typical shrub roses for landscaping of gardens,parklands and roads.
