A New Cut-flower Cultivar of Calla Lily‘Jingcai Yangguang’

Abstract: Calla lily‘Jingcai Yangguang’is a new cut-flower cultivar derived from nature variations
of the New Zealand-introduced cultivar‘Black Magic’. Compare with‘Black Magic’,it has bright and
large yellow spathe with the length 8–9 cm and width 7–8 cm,and earlier flowering with date advanced
by 7–10 days. In addition,this new cultivar shows excellent ornamental characteristics and high complex
resistance to main disease,which is much suitable for planting in Beijing.
