A New Mid-ripening Apple Variety‘Jinshiji’

Abstract: ‘Jinshiji’is a new apple variety selected from‘Royal Gala’,which was introduced in 1996from New Zealand. The variety has good characteristics. The fruit shape is nearly orbicular. The averagefruit mass is 210 g. It has high quality(SSC 14.2% and TA 0.24%)and relatively long storage life. Theripening date is from the end of July to the early of August. The tree is early-bearing and has high and constant yield.
