Advances of Genetic and Regulation Mechanisms of Resistance to Fusarium Wilt in Cucurbits

Abstract:

This acticle reviewed the infection mechanisms of Fusarium oxysporum in major Cucurbitaceae plants,phenotypic identification of resistance,genetic inheritance and molecular markers,as well as fine mapping and cloning of resistance-related genes. It also elucidated the molecular regulatory mechanisms about key regulation genes,root exudates,vascular,hormones and others which participated the resistance. Finally,prospects for future research on genetic mechanisms and molecular regulatory were discussed.
