A New Wine Grape Cultivar‘Zijinglu’

Abstract: ‘Zijinglu’is a new Vitis amurensis Rupr. cultivar that can be used to brew dry red wine from a single cultivar,which resulting from the crossing between female parent V. amurensis‘Zuo Shan Er’and male parent hybrid cultivar‘Zuoyouhong’. The grape cluster has a conical shape with forked shoulders,with round spherical fruit,black skin,green flesh,no flesh sacs,3–5 seeds,and bisexual flowers. The growth trend of‘Zijinglu’is moderate,with strong cold and disease resistance. It reach high yield in five years. The average yield is 21 040 kg · hm-2 in the full fruiting period,the average weight of a single cluster is 199.47 g,and the average weight of a single grain is 1.68 g. Fruit soluble solids,total acidis and juice yield are 21.4%,8.61 g · kg-1 and 64.65%,respectively.‘Zijinglu’has a deep purple color,a clear and glossy body,a faint fruity aroma,a full-bodied texture,and prominent typicality. It is suitable for cultivation in mountainous or semi mountainous areas where the minimum temperature is not lower than–37 ℃.
