Abstract: ‘Jidong 219’is a F₁ by several generations of screening and crossing with import tomato. It has unlimited branches and sparse leaves and it grows vigorously. The first inflorescence is situated between the sixth and ninth node，inflorescence interval of 2 to 3，and each inflorescence bears 8–15 tomatos. The average fruit mass is 38–42 g. The fruit is red，round. Fruit shape index is 0.89. Vitamin C content is 0.17 mg · g^-1. The soluble solids content is 6.18%. Organic acid content is 0.79%. Ratio of sugar to acid is 7.82. Fruit is sweet and sour，flesh is thick. It is tolerant to storage and transportation. It is high-resistant to TYLCV，TMV，southern bacterial wilt and leaf mold，and mid-resistant to gray mold. It is suitable for protected cultivation.
