Abstract: ‘Jingyu’is a new early-maturing strawberry cultivar，which is selected from the crossing of‘Sweet Charlie’בJingyao’. It ripens in early December in plastic house in Hubei，China. The fruit shape is length-coniform or wedge and its surface is bright red. The average weight of its first and second grade fruit is 21.5 g. The fruit is well-uniformity and regular. The fragrant flesh is smooth and soft. Its soluble solids content is 11.8%，vitamin C content is 450.7 mg · g^-1，total sugar content is 8.46%，total acid content is 0.44%，and the fruit firmness is 0.348 kg · cm^-2. It has strong resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew. The average yield is over 30 000 kg · hm^-2.
