Abstract: ‘Qieza 13’is a new mid-early maturing eggplant hybrid developed by crossing lines D-11 with E-902. The cultivar has many good characteristics such as strong growth vigor，tall stem，continuous and long harvesting time，high yield and good adaptability. The number of nodes under the first flower is 7–8. Its fruit is round-shaped，purple black，and the color of the fruit pulp is light green. The fruit grows fast，and the average fruit weight is 996.1 g. Its yield amounts up to 80 000–107 000 kg · hm-2. It is suitable for protected and open field cultivation in spring.
