Abstract: ‘Rongkang 4’is a new wax gourd F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred line ‘Q1-05-1’with inbred line ‘RK-1-3-2’.The first female flower node is at 13th－16th.It is heat-resistant and easy to set fruit. It takes about 120 days from sowing to harvesting in early spring .The average fruit weight is 15kg.The fruit tegument is deep green. The flesh is not easy to cook mashed .The fruit is fit for cooking, barbecue, chaffy dish , preserved fruit and suit to long-distance transportation.
