Abstract: ‘J iashi’muskmelon was grafted on Armour and Robust foot rootstocks to controlmelon fusarium wilt. The result demonstrated that there was high affinity between two rootstocks and scion by different grafting and seedling raising methods. The survival rate of grafted p lant was above 95%. It also indicated that the grafted plants were better in their resistance to fusarium wilt. The protective effectivenesswas above 88.2% in field test. Yield of grafted muskmelon was enhanced by 58.6% - 112.3% than that of non-grafted muskmelon.
