Construction of an AFLP-based Genetic Linkage Map Using a Doubled-haploid(DH) Population Der ived from a Cross between Chinese Kale and Broccoli

Abstract: A high-density genetic linkage map of B rassica oleracea was constructed using AFLP markers based on a Brassica oleracea var. alboglabra, Brassica oleracea var. italica F1 derived doubled-haploid (DH) population with 46 lines. The map consists of 9 major linkage group s and 2 minor group s, which includes 337
AFLP markers, and covers 80.15 cM with an average genetic interval of 3.6 cM. This molecular marke rmap could be used for genetic mapping and molecular marker assisted breeding of Brassica oleracea.
