‘Shannongkaixin 2’a New Apricot Variety Obtained by Embryo Culture

Abstract: With ‘Tai'an Shuixing’of big fruit, sweet kernel, disease-resistance and good quality as mother and ‘Katy’of good self2compatibility as father, ‘Shannongkaixin 2’was bred by combining sexual hybridization and embryo culture methods. It had some characters of high fertile flower rate, big fruit, good quality, self-compatibility and fertility.
