Abstract: This sixty morphological traits and RAPD markers amplified with 29 arbitrary primer used to discriminate the accessition, and to evaluate the relatedness of Rosa roxburghii Tmtt.and a sample set of its relatives.Compared with the relatives, considerable close relationships were found among the genotypes of R.burghii Tmtt.Furthermore,a hish relatedness was also obtained between R.S.Shi and D. Shi and R. kweichowensis Yu et Ku.A Mantel correspondence test showed a significant correlation (r=0.6122,P<0.01)between morphological traits and markers, despite certain discontance existing in the two approaches. In addition, the origination of R.sters S.D. was discussed in the paper.
