The New Pear Variety‘Jinzhuguo’

Abstract: The new pear variety Jinzhuguo is selected from wild Pyrus pyrifolia ( Burm. f. ) Nakai. The average fruit mass is 173 g, the fruit is long ovate, red dish􀀁brown colour. The flesh is fine, crisp, juicy, sour􀀁sweet, palatable and aronaticwith rich nutri ent. It fruits early and has high yield, resistance to virus, late maturity with long storage life at room temperature. It ripens in early November in Luoyang area.
