Abstract: Anthurium andraeanum‘Hongyu’is a new potted cultivar selected from the cross between ‘Marasol’（female parent）and‘Paradi’（male parent）. It is a compact plant with an average plant height of 24 cm. The leaves are ovate. The spathes are slightly higher than the leaves,broad ovate,red,with moderate depression on the surface,averaging 7.5 cm in length and 8.2 cm in width. The spadixes are arcuate,averaging 4.4 cm in length,and pink. Anthurium andraeanum‘Hongyan’is a new potted cultivar selected from the cross between‘FantasyLove’（female parent） and‘Silence’（male parent）. It is a compact plant with an average plant height of 30 cm. The leaves are ovate,without round lobes. The spathes are slightly higher than the leaves,small,ovate,red,with a smooth surface,averaging 7.8 cm in length and 4.8 cm in width. The spadixes are erect to recurved,with 3.0 cm in average length,and pink. The two cultivars are suitable for small potted plants.
