Abstract: ‘Bingmi’is a new mid-maturing high-quality white-fleshed loquat cultivar bred by crossing ‘Ninghaibai’and‘Oobusa’. The tree posture is semi-open. The fruits are nearly round,yellow fruit surface,easy-to-peel skin,with yellow-white flesh,high edible rate,delicate and melting texture,and rich flavor. The average single fruit weight is 44.39 g,TSS is 15.1%,the titratable acid content is 0.50%,and the edible rate reaches 78.2%. Flower buds appear in mid-to-late September,and the full blooming period is from late November to late December,with a late and long flowering period. The mature period is around May 26th in the northern part of Zhejiang Province. The yield in the 6th year after planting can reach 10 760 kg · hm^-2. It has good resistance to freezing damage,fruit cracking,sunscald and wrinkled fruit. It is suitable for planting in Zhejiang Province and surrounding loquat production areas.
