A New Tomato Cultivar‘Xiweimei 191’with High Quality

Abstract: ‘Xiweimei 191’is a new fresh market pink fruit tomato cultivar obtained by crossing the inbred line CP103 as the female parent and the inbred line CP310-1 as the male parent. It is of the indeterminate growth type,with relatively strong plant growth vigor. The commercially red ripe fruits are round in shape,its fruits have high firmness without green shoulder. The average single fruit weight is 240-280 g. The soluble solid content is 4.85%,the lycopene content is 0.0216 mg · g-1,and the vitamin C content is 0.2145 mg · g-1. It is resistant to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus(TYLCV),Tomato mosaic virus (ToMV),and moderately resistant to gray leaf spot. The yield in spring protected cultivation is over 102 000 kg · hm-2. It is suitable for winter and spring protected cultivation in Xinjiang,Ningxia,Gansu,Shaanxi,and Inner Mongolia.
