A New Suitable for Mechanized Harvesting and Heat-resistant Pak-choi Cultivar‘Xinxiaqing 6’

Abstract: ‘Xinxiaqing 6’pak-choi is a new suitable for mechanized harvesting and heat-resistant hybrid by crossing two self-incompatible line‘131-413’and‘134-412’with homozygous genotype and excellent traits. The plant is erect with compact plant type and vigorous growth,with glossy green outer leaves and wide-long green petiole. It showed long hypocotyls,heat resistance,high downy mildew disease resistance and high quality. It could be harvested at 15–25 days after seeding and its average yield could be up to 10 200 kg · hm-2 at 20 days after seeding. It is suitable for cultivation in Shanghai and the Yangtze River similar ecological conditions in spring,summer and autumn.
