A New Chrysanthemum Cultivar‘Xingfang’

Abstract: Chrysanthemum morifolium‘Xingfang’is derived from the hybrid progenies of C. morifolium‘Yadongzhiguang’as the female parent and C. morifolium‘Donglinruixue’as the male parent,which can be used as courtyard landscaping and as chrysanthemum tea. The flower is apricot,4–5 cm in diameter,doubled with ray flowers strewed at random arrangement. The plant forms a ball shape with vigorous growth crown width can reach more than 90 cm and is characterized by low temperature resistance,drought resistance and lodging resistance. The nature flowering period is from late September to early October which was suitable for cultivated application in northwest,north and northeast areas of China.
