Abstract: A new crabapple cultivar‘Datang Tingmei’，was selected from the descendants of‘Qingzhen 1’ב Maypole’. The tree type is columnar and straight. The amount of flowers is large and the petals are pink when blooming. The young leaves are red，then turn to green. The leaves are leathery，bright and shiny，and turn to reddish brown before defoliation. The fruit is small，oblate，purple and red with fruit powder，and later turned red and shiny. It blooms in the middle and late April of Qingdao and leaf falls in the middle and late November. It has strong adaptability and high comprehensive ornamental value，which can be applied in landscaping.
