A New Chrysanthemum morifolium Cultivar‘Huiju 3’

Abstract: ‘Huiju 3’was selected from the Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. by mass selection. The cultivar is a new variety with orange flowers,high yield and high quality. The whole plant is high and strong. The flower diameter is about 4.38 cm. The ligulate flowers and the flower center are orange,and the flower center is clearly exposed. The average number of inflorescences per platn is 584,and the average fresh weight of flowers per plant is 542.14 g. The content of chlorogenic acid,luteolin and 3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid in dried flowers were 0.72%,0.21% and 1.71%,respectively.
