Abstract: ‘Aode’is a new sour cherry cultivar derived from resources. The average fruit weight is 5.5 g，total sugar content and total acid content are 10.36% and 1.45% respectively. Soluble protein content is 1.40%，and the juice processing rate of fruit is 85.2%.‘Aode’is a dwarfing varity with characteristics of drought and salt resistance. The tree leaf is less affected by disease and insect comparing with sweet cherry. The fruit of‘Aode’is resistant to spliting problem. The root systerm of the varity is strong and solid with less wind damage.‘Aode’has been cultivated in Shaanxi，Gansu，Shanxi，Henan and Shandong Province etc.
