Abstract: Hybridization between Asiatic lily‘Petit Brigitte’× Lilium tsingtauense was conducted with cut style pollination and embryo rescue. Fourteen progenies were obtained, and the parents and 4 progenies were analyzed using FISH with 45S rDNA as probe. The results showed that all of them are diploid(2n = 2x = 24);‘Petit Brigitte’has 10 loci of 45S rDNA distributed on chromosome CH-1,CH-2,CH-5 and CH-7 and Lilium tsingtauense has 8 on CH-3,CH-4,CH-5 and CH-10 respectively,2n = 2x = 24 for Lilium tsingtauense and 2n = 2x = 24 for hybrids, respectively;all four progenies have 9 loci of 45S rDNA,unambiguously, coming from‘Petit Brigitte’and Lilium tsingtauense respectively.
