Abstract: The explants from seed segments of Veronicastrum sibiricum (L．)Pennell were used to establish culture in vitro and regeneration system．The experiments showed that the best medium for callus induction from seed segm ents was MS with 3 mg·L^-1 6-BA and 0．3 mg·L^-1 NAA．Th e medium supplemented with 2 mg·L^-16-BA and 0.2 mg·L^-1 NAA was favorable to the diferentiation and proliferation of buds, and each explant regenerated 12-18 plantlets about 60 days．The growth of roots was best on 1/2 MS medium with supplement of IBA 0．5 mg·L^-1．
