Abstract: The effect of different concentration Ce(NO3)3 from 1 to 100 mg·L-1 on the growth of‘ Red Globe’grape plandets in vitro were investigated. The results indicated that the optimum concentration of Ce(NO3)3 which promoted growth of plantlets was 1 to 10 mg·L-1.The growth performance of plandets in vitro as follows:The number and length of roots increased obviously.Fresh and dry matter of roots, stems and leaves as well as the contents of chlorophyll also increased.Survival rate of transplantation increased due to roots activity which could improve mineral nutrition absorption ability of plantlets. While, high concentration of Ce(NO3)3 (100 mg·L-1 )in medium obviously inhibited plantlets growth.
