Abstract: ‘Jinxiang Xiong 1’is a new pollenizer cultivar of Actinidia chinensis bred from the wild kiwifruit germplasm. This cultivar exhibits vigorous growth with a flowering shoot rate of 97.1%. Its dichasium inflorescence produces an average of 62.5 anthers per flower, demonstrating a pollen germination rate of 67.6%. In central Hubei Province,it begins to flower in late April, petals fall off in early May,with a flowering period of 12-14 days. It is a well-qualified pollenizer for most of the A. chinensis, such as‘Jianxiang’‘Jinyang’and‘Jinshi 2’with high fruit-set rate, and excellent fruit quality. This cultivar demonstrates optimal adaptability in Hubei Province and ecologically analogous kiwifruit cultivation regions.
