Abstract: Non heading Chinese cabbage‘Xiakang 718’is F1 hybrid bred by using self incompatible line QS078 as female parent and self incompatible line QS121 as male parent. The plant height is 25.7 cm， and the spread is 32.5 cm × 31.7 cm，the leaves are oval，dark green and flat. The single plant weight is about 0.06–0.07 kg，the average yield is 56 000 kg · hm-2. It has good comprehensive performance in the field，strong heat resistance and excellent quality. It is suitable for open field close planting in the Yangtze River and Huaihe River Basin in China.
