Abstract: Auricularia heimuer‘Guiyun 3’was bred and domesticated form wild strains. The cultivar is mid-early maturing type with wide range of growing temperature and adaptability. The fruiting bodies are mostly solitary, light brown, with strong diaphaneity, small ear base and unconspicuous ear vein. The ear piece has more glial content, good elasticity, and crisp texture. It shrinks strongly, and the foaming rate of dry ear is 1︰20 or more. Demonstrative cultivation for years shows that the suitable temperature for fruiting body growth of‘Guiyun 3’is 23–28 ℃. The ear productive cycle was 55–70 days, the biological efficiency is 115%–140%,the average yield of 15 cm × 55 cm cultivation bag(dry material is mainly miscellaneous sawdust, about 900 g)is 50–75 g(dry weight)per cultivated bag. It is suitable for cultivation in central and northern of Guangxi.
