Abstract: ‘Huayou Baomi’is a new apple cultivar derived from the cross between‘Hanfu’（female parent）and‘Huahong’（male parent）. The shape of the fruit is nearly round. The average fruit weight is 224 g. The fruit shape index is 0.91. The fruit is covered with bright red，and the surface is smooth with big fruit dot. The flesh is tender，crunchy and sweet. The hardness of the peeled fruit is 7.2 kg • cm-2. The soluble solids content is 18.0%. It has hight fruit quality. It is a new mid-ripening apple cultivar，matured in late September in Huludao，Liaoning. The yield is 34 000 kg • hm-2.
