Abstract: The new Agaricus bisporus cultivar‘Fumo 52’was obtained by cross-breeding of the sterile homokaryons derived from W192 and A15. Its mycelia on PDA is flattened, which can grow at 10–32 ℃(optimum temperature 24–28 ℃). Its fruiting temperature is 10–22 ℃(optimum temperature 16–18 ℃). The harvest date is 2–3 d earlier than that of W192. The fruitbodies are scattered, tight and round, with good quality. The caps are approximately hemispherical, with white and smooth surfaces, and the browning resistance is much stronger than that of W192. This cultivar is suitable for year-round industrialized cultivation, and the mushroom is suitable for fresh marketing.
