Abstract:

For the preliminary study on the sequence variations of Citrus yellow vein clearing virus

(CYVCV)by different citrus cultivars,CYVCV isolate CQ01 was grafted from Eureka lemon to 35 citrus cultivars. Sequence analysis on CP gene showed that few mutation was found among CYVCV isolates from different citrus cultivars. The results of RT-qPCR showed that the relative expression levels of CYVCV in sweet orange genotype were higher than in other citrus genotypes. The relative amount of CYVCV in Mexican lime was the lowest. Furthermore, there was no apparent relationship between the relative amount of CYVCV and the symptoms on citrus cultivar.
