Abstract: ‘Bohuangju’is a new cultivar of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. with yellow flower,high yield,high quality and good resistance,which was selected from the field variant of‘Boju’. The whole plant is short and strong and the flower period is in early November. The capitulum diameter is composed of glossy flowers,and the inner and outer edges of the ligulate flowers are both yellow. The flower shows extremely few tubular flowers,with a diameter about 4.30 cm. The average number of inflorescences per plant is 1 145,and the average dry flower yield per plant is 47.66 g. The content of chlorogenic acid,luteolin and 3,5-O-dicaffeoyl quinic acid in dried flowers were 0.50%,0.151% and 1.65%,respectively. It is suitable for cultivation in Bozhou,Anhui Province,and other regions with similar ecological conditions.
