Abstract: ‘Huaguoshan Yunzhi 1’was developed from wild fruiting bodies of Ganoderma collected in the Huaguoshan area of Lianyungang City,Jiangsu Province. Through tissue isolation and successive generations of systematic selection,a stable new cultivar was obtained. The cultivation cycle is approximately 120 days. The fruiting body is kidney-shaped to nearly round,with a diameter of 10-20 cm and a thickness of 2-4 cm. In the early stages,the surface is pale yellow-white,turning light reddish-brown when mature. The underside is yellow to light yellow,and the stipe is dark brown with a glossy appearance. Mature fruiting bodies are covered with spore powder of an earthy yellow color. The fruiting bodies contain approximately 17.84 mg · g^-1 of soluble total sugars and 10.97 mg · g^-1 of triterpenes,with a yield of about 4 350 kg · hm^-2. This cultivar is well suited for greenhouse cultivation in the Lianyungang region.
