Abstract: ‘Bofenju’is a new cultivar of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. with pink flower,high yield,high quality and good resistance,which was selected from the field variant of the traditional medicinal cultivar‘Boju’. The flower period is in early November,with a diameter about 4.31 cm,which is composed of glossy flowers,and the inner glossy flowers are pink,while the outer glossy flowers indicate pale pink. The flower shows extremely few tubular flower,and without flower center. The average number of inflorescences per plant is 961,and the average dry weight of flowers per plant is 53.92 g. The average dry flower weight yield is about 2 340 kg · hm^-2. The content of chlorogenic acid,luteolin and 3,5-O-dicaffeoyl quinic acid in dried flowers were 0.97%,0.098% and 2.91%,respectively. It is suitable for cultivation in Bozhou,Anhui Province,and other regions with similar ecological conditions.
