Abstract: The relative electric conductivity of leaf and one-year-old shoot bark cell under artificial adverse circumstances , soluble sugar content in leaf and POD activity in leaf and one-year-old shoot bark was tested in 17 plum varieties which belong to six species and one genera hybrid. The comparison of resistance to adverse circumstances in different species was done. The correlation of physiologic and biochemical characters tested above were analysed. The results showed that the significantly negative correlation existed between soluble sugar content and membrane freeze damage and significantly negative correlation existed between POD activity in bark and leaf cell heat damage. According to Fuzzy synthetical valuation the comprehensive resistance of plum species to adverse circumstances were discussed.
