Abstract: Isolated microspores of 5 Chinese kale genotypes were cultured. It was found that only those late-uninucleate and binucleate microspores could grow into division. The results also showed that genotypes had important impact on embryoid induction. Effect of shaking culture on embryoids development was examined. The results demonstrated that slow shaking could promote development of embryoids and increase the proportion of cotyledonary embryoids.MS and B5 media showed no difference on plant
regeneration.
