Abstract: ‘Guijing 2501’is a novel citrus cultivar selected from bud mutation of satsuma mandarin ‘Kamei’(Citrus unshiu Marc.). The vigor of the tree growth is moderate, and it has round-headed canopy. The fruit is seedless, oblate,in medium size. The shape index is 0.75,and the average fruit weight is 110 g. The fruit rind is orange, smooth and thin, and easy to peel off. In terms of the latest investigation on fruit quality indicators, the fruit was fully ripened in mid-October,and contents of total soluble solids, the titratable acid were 13.0%,and 0.48%,respectively. The novel cultivar is suitable for the citrus producing areas and similar regions due to the improved cold tolerance and wide growth adaptation.
