Abstract: ‘Chenshan Fendai’‘Chenshan Yinxia’and‘Chenshan Hongxin’are new Hibiscus mutabilis cultivars developed by crossing‘Danbanbai’as female,and H. moscheutos‘Honeymoon’as male,through the experiment of interspecific hybridization. They have single petal. The flowering is from June to November. The flower is 16 cm in diameter. There is no seed. The plants are healthy. There is fewer pests. The petal of‘Chenshan Fendai’is pink. The petal of‘Chenshan Hongxin’is white. The petal of‘Chenshan Yinxia’is red or white. It is mainly carried out in the areas of the south of Shanghai with open-field cultivations. They can be used as a characteristic ornamental tree.
