Abstract: The plantlet regeneration, with multi-shoots especially, derived from seed, cotyledon, squama and tip-bud of Cycas revolute Thunb was studied in vitro. The results showed that the germination of seed cultured in vitro could be six months earlier than that of sowing in normal condition. When inoculated on ER+BA 2 mg/L+IBA 0.4 mg/L+juice of Cycas revolute Thunb episperm 2 ml/L,the rate of multi-shoots was 76.7%. The differentiation rate of bud derived from cotyledon and squama was 53.3% and 33.3% , respectively. It will be better when plantlets were transplanted from April to July; and the survival rate was more than 90%.
