Morphological Differentiation of Flower Bud of Osmanthus fragrans 'Zao Yingui' and 'Xiaoye Sugui'

Abstract: The developing process of the flower bud differentiation of 'Zao Yingui' and 'Xiaoye Sugui' was observed in semithin section. The results showed that the differentiation of inflorescence in 'Xiaoye Sugui' is slower than that in 'Zao Yingui'. The stamen differentiation of the lateral flower is later than that of the apical flower in 'Xiaoye Sugui', while they are synchro in 'Zao Yingui'.
