Abstract: Respiration quantity of different parts of apple, pear, peach, persimmon and grape fruits were studied. The results showed that the proportion of respiration of peel of‘Starking Delicious’apple and‘Yali’pear to total respiration was about 90%, the proportion of stem was as same as that of calyx; the proportion of respiration of peel of‘Beijing 14’peach was about 95% , that of stem was about 5%; the proportion of peel of‘Kyoho’grape was about 70% , that of stem was about 30%; the proportion of peel of ‘Mopan’persimmon was about 30% , that of pedicel was 70%. The above results indicated that the main respiration channel of pomes and stone fruits was the peel, the respiration channel ratio of peel against stem of‘Kyoho’
grape is 7∶3; however, persimmon's main respiration channel was calyx, whose respiration was up to 70% of total respiration of fruit.

Key words: Fruit peel, Fruit stem, Fruit calyx, Respiration channel
