Abstract: In order to eliminate prejudices against plant growth substances，the basic diferences among plan t hormones，an imal horm ones and plant growth regulators have been demonstrated in the paper． According to scientific analysis，the authors have proposed that natural plant horm ones are harmless to human bodies and many plant growth regulators can be used in most of green food production．
