The Application of The Gray System Theory on The Comprehensive Evaluation on of The Main Characteristics of Balsampears

Abstract

Abstract: The main characteristics of tested balsam pears cultivars were evaluated by the gray system theory in this paper. The results showed that the rank of relational grade between tested cultivars and the reference was identical with the actual performance of the balsam pears cultivars in the field. It was suggested that this evaluation method would play an important role in developing and evaluating new cultivars of balsam pear in the future.
