Abstract: Bougainvillea‘Haihong’is a new cultivar derived from the open-pollinated,naturally-fruiting progeny of‘Chitra’. This cultivar grows semi-upright and strong. It blooms from December to April with dense flower clusters. The bracts are bright red, arranged in a spiral, and semi-expanding,with a long-lasting longevity. It is suggested for use in ground-planted landscapes or potted flowers in South China.
