Abstract: ‘Zaoyoufen’is a new processed wax gourd hybrid developed by crossing high generation inbred line D102-3 as female parent and high generation inbred line FZD-11 as male parent. The cultivar has strong branching ability and strong growth. The first nodal position of female flower on main vine is 14-19. The fruit is cylindrical in shape,with a green skin and a thick wax powder on the surface,80 cm in length,30 cm in width,6.2 cm in flesh thickness and 24.0 kg in weight. It has excellent quality,strong seat fruit strength,and high and stable yield of 82 500 kg · hm^-2. It is suitable for planting in Jiangxi and areas with similar ecological conditions.
