Abstract: ‘Eganjiao 105’is a new hybrid pepper cultivar with YJ104-M-2 as female parent and CP027-M-1 as male parent. The fruit is thin horn-shaped,green,smooth,and two ventricles,with a length of 14.7 cm,a transverse diameter of 1.2 cm and a single fruit weight of about 8.9 g. The content of capsaicin was 2.53 mg · g^-1 and vitamin C was 1 160 mg · kg^-1,moderately resistant to TMV and phytophthora,and relatively resistant to low temperature. It is easy dehydrated and extra spicy. The yield is more than 33 210 kg · hm^-2. It is suitable for cultivation in Hubei Province or surrounding as fresh red pepper or processed dried pepper,especially cultivation in open field of alpine areas over the summer or autumn planting in protected areas in plain areas.
